Regional Groups
Regional groups have the purpose of providing events for Association members in our regions who cannot always travel into London. They can be attended by any member of the Association whether they live in the region or are visiting – all are welcome! Non members who are considering joining the association are also welcome.
Association members can also bring friends with them to events. The member should, of course, attempt to encourage their friends to join the Association!
In 2019 the following events were held outside London:

Visit and full day conference at the National Armouries Museum, Leeds, Yorkshire for the North East England and Yorkshire Group

Visit and talks at the Lancashire Infantry Museum Preston for the North West England and South Scotland Group

Study Day at Shorncliffe for the South Region Group

Talk on the role of D’Erlon’s Corps at Waterloo for the South West Group

Conference at Higham Hall Cumbria

Conference at Chicheley Hall, Milton Keynes

In 2020 and 2021 our programme of events had to be cancelled due to Covid. We replaced these with what proved to be a very popular winter/spring lecture series delivered via Zoom. WE will be running a similar lecture programme during Winter 2021/Spring 2022
