Historians React to the Napoleon Trailer – Waterloo Association Podcast

In this special episode of the Waterloo Association podcast, Membership Secretary Owen Davis, is joined by Paul Brunyee and John Morewood to discuss the latest trailer for the upcoming film Napoleon.

Paul is the editor of the Waterloo Journal and has a particular interest in the St Helena period of Napoleon’s life as well as the British press and in civil unrest in Napoleonic Britain. John Morewood has been Secretary of the Waterloo Association since 2013. He lectures widely on a range of Napoleonic themes. He co-authored the book on Nelson’s flagship at the Battle of the Nile and his ‘Waterloo General – The Life, Letters and mysterious death of Sir William Ponsonby’ has continued to receive positive feedback since its publication in 2016. In 2016 John was the lecturer and guide on a tour in Italy on Napoleon’s Italian campaigns and has visited many Napoleonic sites including Austerlitz.
