Our Autumn meeting will take place on 7th November in the splendid surrounding of the East India Club. This is of course where the Prince Regent learnt of the Victory at Waterloo.
A drinks reception will be held from 18.00-18.45 with wine and soft drinks available. The noted historian Dr. Andrew Bamford with be speaking on the 1813-14 campaign in the Netherlands and how the troops involved in it were an integral part of Wellington’s army at Waterloo.
The is no charge to members for this events, Guest maybe brought if they are interested in joining the Association.
Please note the EIC has a strict dress;
Gentlemen should wear business attire or jacket including collar and tie with tailored trousers.
Ladies should wear smart separates, elegant dress or business attire.
